How to order coffee online from Café Castelo ?
Ordering coffee online from Café Castelo is quick and easy. You can do it right now directly on our website, which is an online store. Here are the steps to follow:
1️⃣ Navigate our menu : All our products are listed in the "Our Products" section.
2️⃣ Add to cart : Select the products you want and add them to your cart.
3️⃣ Finalize your order : Once you have finished making your selections, click on the shopping cart in the top right corner of the screen. Enter your delivery address and choose your payment method (credit or PayPal) to finalize your order.
For those unfamiliar with online ordering, you can place your order by email at info@cafecastelo.com. Specify precisely what you want (quantity, grind if applicable, types) and we will send you an electronic invoice.
What is the procedure if I made an error in my order ?
You must notify us immediately at info@cafecastelo.com so that we can make the necessary changes. If the order has already been shipped, unfortunately you are responsible for providing us with the correct information and for checking your order before and after purchase in the order confirmation email.
What are the delivery times ?
We work with Deliveroo, a Quebec-based delivery company, because we prioritize local partners. We also offer Canada Post For customers who wish to receive their parcel in a post office box, you always have the choice between these two carriers when finalizing your order.
For the processing and shipping of your order, please allow 1 to 2 business days. Once the package is taken into the carrier's care, delivery takes place. only on working days and usually takes 1 to 3 days, depending on your location.

Do you have a monthly coffee subscription program ?
Yes, it's possible to schedule your coffee delivery according to the quantity and frequency you want. You'll never have the unpleasant surprise of running out of coffee again.

What is your return policy ?
No refunds are possible except in the case of an error on our part. We do not accept returns without email confirmation that we have accepted your request.
We can only accept products that have not been opened.
If the return is due to a customer error, the return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. However, for any error on our part, we will cover all costs.
It is important to note that you are entirely responsible for providing the correct information, both for the grind and your delivery address. Please contact us by email.

How to store coffee so it stays fresh ?
The best way to store coffee is at room temperature. Large temperature changes are not recommended as they affect the essential oils in coffee that give it all the flavor, so avoid the refrigerator or putting your bag on a windowsill.
You can keep your coffee in the bag, but make sure it's tightly sealed, as contact with air will cause it to lose its freshness. You can also store it in an airtight container made of stone, glass, or porcelain. Avoid aluminum or metal containers, as coffee can quickly absorb these materials, and you'll end up tasting it in your cup.

Do you offer caffeine-free products ?
Yes, we offer a full range of caffeine-free products, available in bulk and in capsules. All our decaffeinated coffees are water-processed using the Swiss method, guaranteeing superior quality and an optimal tasting experience.
Our decaffeinated coffees are highly sought after because we challenge you to taste or taste the difference in crema. Decaffeinated coffees are in no way less high-quality or less flavorful. We are committed to offering rich, flavorful coffees, whether they contain caffeine or not.

Can I buy directly from the factory as an individual ?
Yes, it is possible to benefit from certain discounts by buying directly from the Saint-Nicolas factory. All the products on the website are available at the factory since everything is shipped directly from there. Our sales counter is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
